The aluminum alloy water and foam monitor is available in PL8/24, PL8/32, PL8/40 and PL10/48 configurations. The range covers nominal flows from 24 L/s to 48 L/s and throw distances from 50 m to 65 m.
The monitor provides continuous 360° horizontal rotation and -60° to +70° vertical movement. Its aluminum alloy construction is used for a separate model line from the ductile cast iron and stainless steel monitors in this series.
The monitor can be used in water and foam firefighting systems. For foam operation, the supply system must include a compatible foam concentrate and proportioning or induction arrangement.

FAQ

Q: Which models are available?

A: The published range includes PL8/24, PL8/32, PL8/40 and PL10/48.

Q: What is the flow range?

A: The nominal flow increases from 24 L/s on PL8/24 to 48 L/s on PL10/48.

Q: What is the maximum working pressure?

A: The rated working pressure is 0.8 MPa for the first three models and 1.0 MPa for PL10/48. The published working pressure range is 0.5–1.6 MPa.

Q: Can it operate with foam?

A: Yes, provided that the monitor is connected to a compatible foam proportioning or induction system and the correct foam concentrate is used.
