BS336 reduce adapter is manual type adapter. These adapters are made by brass and aluminum manufactured to comply to BS 336:2010 standard. The adapters are classified under low pressure and are suitable for use at nominal inlet pressure up to 16 bars. The internal casting finishes of every adapters is of high quality ensuring a low flow restriction that meets the standard’s water flow test requirement. It is usually used together with a fire hydrant, which can follow the structure of the fire hydrant and install it flexibly. This product is divided into two types: male thread and female thread.
